It’s so refreshing to watch a team that OSU destroyed one week go on their own destructive path the next week.

Right? Makes it feel like a good win.

I went to sleep before the game thinking for sure Washington would beat a team that didn’t have anything left in the tank going out west.

Nope. Ass beating.

Indiana Hoosiers (2025 National Champions)

it’s what all the big programs should be doing.

These smaller schools need the money anyhow with less OOC games for the big conferences. You get great experience for back ups, you stay healthier, and I think Indiana is banking on the fact that there’s more risk in losing these games than there’s upside in winning them.

I think they’re right.

We very well could be out of the playoffs if we drop 2 more games even if they’re close and even if they’re to top 10 teams. There’s absolutely a world where we finish 9-3 with 3 losses coming by a total of 3 points yet we are out of the playoffs despite losses to 3 top 10 teams.

It risks a lot. But let’s see how this year ends up.

If the scenario above happens and we miss the playoffs we better cancel those OOC games with UGA etc

No! Terrible product. Eventually they have to deliver a better product or this becomes preseason NFL

High School Ohio High School Football General Discussion

NJ-Buckeye
OK.. I'm gonna cheat.. but I have to
My nephew plays in GA
His team started tonight at 7-1
Somehow I find the link to the game being televised/streamed
7 minutes left.. his team is down 13
3 minutes left.. his team is down 6
Other team punts it.. down at the 2
First play, pass to my nephew.. in heavy traffic.. complete at the 10
He spins out and beats everyone to the end zone
98 yard TD... they win by 1
Such a great kid.. so happy for him

Oh, and that was his 2nd TD reception of the game

I must be hallucinating after the one beer I had around the fire tonight. I read Iowa put up 27 points in the first half. Thank goodness I’m not driving;-)

They’ve scored more touchdowns than field goals. I’ll say it again slowly.
More. Touchdowns. Than. Field goals.
