You should know they play like crap every time there are more than 20,000 people in attendance, and then they wonder why their attendance is so poor.Indians playing un-clutch so far tonight.
1st inning: Bases loaded, one out, Santana grounds into double play.
2nd inning: Bases loaded, no out, Indians score just one run (strike out, single, base running mistake, ground out).
3rd inning: Three straight pop ups (Lindor, Napoli, Santana) from the league leaders in popping out.
4th inning: Guyer doubles with one out, goes to third on throwing error. Crisp (surprise, surprise) pops out. Perez grounds out. Another wasted opportunity.
5th inning: Indians go 1-2-3 with two more pop outs (Kipnis, Lindor). It's really uncanny how much this team pops out.
White Sox lead 3-1 going to the top of the sixth. Todd Frazier hits a solo bomb to go up 4-1.
6th inning: Napoli and Santana pop out. Ramirez hits two-out double. Guyer lines out to short. Tribe now 1 for 7 with runners in scoring position.
7th inning: Indians get a hit but don't score. They do manage to add another pop out (Kipnis), their 9th of the game.
Top of the 8th, Indians are conceding defeat. Austin Adams enters the game to pitch.
Adams goes 1/3 of an inning, gives up 4 runs on 3 hits. Now 8-1 Sox. Game over.
8th inning: Indians go quietly but manage not to pop out.
9th inning: Some good news tonight: Brandon Guyer gets hit by a pitch, his major league leading 31st HBP of the season. Almonte follows with a double. Runners on 2nd & 3rd with one out, Naquin strikes out, Adam Moore (who?) strikes out.
Final: White Sox 8, Indians 1
White Sox Alex Avila struck out five times (platinum sombrero) tonight. The rest of the team was 15/37 (.405) for the game.
I know, especially if Kluber loses the first game tonight. I just do not have any faith in the rest of the "rotation" and you never know what might happen in Kansas City.Well you know, they could get swept in Detroit...just to keep it interesting. #goat

It probably will be a little bit interesting when Bauer takes the mound against D–troit later this week..
Bauer has [Mark May] the bed, with a 6.75 ERA in September. While Tomlin has managed to regain some sort of non [Mark May]ty form with a 1.40 ERA in September.
Well, neither has been as good or bad as those numbers... I'm not sure what that says, but, yeah... I dunno, I suppose its a good thing since we know Bauer is pretty much the 2... but sadly I just don't see him going deep enough consistently to make me feel ok with having to quick hook Tomlin.
