YOUR 2016 Cleveland Indians Thread (American League CHAMPS!)

Indians combined box score over the past four games:

TeamRunsHitsErrors
Indians3225
Opponent23350
The Tribe has become a truly horrible team all of a sudden.
Updated for the past eight games:

TeamRunsHitsErrors
Indians17607
Opponent33652
Those number include a 12-run, 17-hit performance on August 26th. Take that game out, and in the other seven games the Tribe has scored 5 runs and had 43 hits.

Josh Tomlin will be serving up meatballs tonight. We can only hope its only 1 or 2 solo shots.

He's allowed 7 HRs in his last 3 starts. (16 1/3 innings)
Francona should have Clevinger warming up when Tomlin walks to the mound to start the game because he probably will be needed shortly thereafter.

I wonder who is going to take Salazar's spot coming up. Maybe they will need Clevinger for that or maybe they were use Armstrong who just got called up yesterday. Do not know much about the latter..

I doubt they'd use Armstrong as a starter, he's never started a game in pro ball. I think I read Salazar might be back in time for his start? If not theyll have to hope they dont have to use Clevinger or send Armstrong down and call someone else up to start.

Forgot that they have Thursday off so that should give Salazar time to get back. Hope he is doing his work while on maternity leave :biggrin2:

So.....Sano appears pulls Davis' leg off the bag at 3rd, and of course hes called out. Not really much the ump could do I guess, the only angle you could really see it from was from the OF. He should had been easily safe but took a pretty bad coming in hot late slide.

Naturally Kipnis hits a HR the next pitch....should be 2-2, but 2-1

In other news....fucking why?

Coco Crisp could be heading to the Cleveland Indians

According to FanGraphs, Crisp has been pretty dreadful on offense (-6.8 Offense) and even worse in the field (-12..7 Defense). He's amassed either -0.5 or 0.0 WAR, depending on if you're looking at FanGraphs or B-Ref.

I loved Coco in his time here, but hes at the crash and burn end of his career.....this move does nothing to help, and might actually be a downgrade from what we have already.
