YOUR 2016 Cleveland Indians Thread (American League CHAMPS!)

Well, I guess they took a hint since they're like 8 wins ahead of they're Pythagorean record, and some analytics project them under .500 the rest of the way... I'd have thought they'd be looking for pitching, but what do I know?
God help me, if we can get just enough hitting, I kinda like our chances in the AL if our rotation can hold it together, and the BP is upgraded with Miller. Pitching is the great equalizer in the playoffs, and we might have that.

Shitty. Still really, really shitty.

[Mark May]ty. Still really, really [Mark May]ty.

Are we clear that I was talking about the Rangers?

Anyway, jesus, they just paid for Jeffress and Lucroy. Ouch.

you are being way too kind
If he can hit .260-.270, draw some walks, and drive in a run every seven AB's or so, he'd still be an upgrade over the production we've gotten from there most of the past two years. He might not hit for much power, but hitting at a .325 clip with a .420+ OBP this year isn't an accident. He's shown that kind of ability all the way up the system....308 BA, .407 OBP career. Plug him in, and bat him near the bottom of the order.

Oh, I was not talking about his hitting. I would like to see him get a shot if it was just because of that but they are not giving him a lot out playing time in left field because he is such a good glove at third base. Columbus is playing Urshella at 3B the majority of the time. Maybe in September if we have a Big league on Detrooooiiit.

One of the worst pitchers on one of the worst teams in baseball (Jose Berrios, who entered the game with a 10.80 ERA).

And Max Kepler with not one, not two, but three home runs? Max Freaking Kepler?

THEY"RE STILL [Mark May]TY!!!!
Yeah. Get on the shitty bandwagon. This is all your fault.
