Um, I never said anything about those studies linking cancer and aspartame being true. Read my post again.

What were you referring to with your talking about studies of long term effects? Just it being addictive?

Edit: Didn't see your retracting post before I made mine. So glad to see you have come around. :)

This?
Their are all kinds of studies done about its long term effects and many of those are pretty controversial

I was commenting on studies such as are published on aspartamekills.com or sweetpoison.com and rense.com that appear to show links between long term use and system toxicity(Formaldehyde mostly?)

Edit: Didn't see your retracting post before I made mine. So glad to see you have come around. :)

I don't think I have come around, only that I do realize I need to do some more, modern, research. Probably the last time I read stuff, including the now defunct "addictive" study I referred to, was around the early 80s. Since I don't drink diet sodas I never really went back over the information I already had in my memory.

Dang it..I went back and looked for the old site I had read the article on that talked about this. I don't know how long ago it was but that site is now chock full of all kinds of crazyness about aspartame, including the aforementioned "causes cancer", "symptoms like MS" and all the other crackpot stuff. I went to see if it was the study republished or had been revisited/retested and had no luck.

Fair enough. I couldn't find anything else either after doing some searching around PubMed and Medline, for what it's worth.

My favorite find (perhaps that same site?) listed Lyme Disease in things that aspartame can potentially cause. :)

Yes, one night a year by dead dad and my hippie mom put on matching rings of power, merge into one shape, and take the form of "SANTA, He who walks at night!"

Which night? Or is it kind of random?

Do they like milk and cookies or does "their" taste change when they go all "Wonder Twins?"

Dude, I just want an iPhone.

Well, my dead dad can't really eat cookies, his mouth is full of mud and my hippy mom won't drink milk, it's squeezed from the teats of slaves.

I am not sure I will be able to get them to understand "iPhone", they might think it is some kind of "Speak and Spell" with a custom case mod in the shape of the letter "I"

You could write SANTA a letter, with a picture and some explanatory graphs and pie charts and I can make sure it gets to the right "people."

Huh, huh.... you said "the teats of slaves"

I'm sure that most people didn't know that SANTA is really one (or is it two?) of the Superfriends.

Most informative.

And... a Speak and Spell would be fine.

Allow me to utilize my marketing degree to put the descriptions from their ad into laymans terms (warning, not for sensitive readers).

Regardless of who you are buying for, yourself or a loved one, there are a few things you might like to know about our toilets. The GREAT JOHN is by no means a STANDARD toilet. It was designed from the ground up.

COMFORT ISSUES

A regular toilet has a terribly small seat.
This means regular seats don't fit your fat ass, or vice versa if you prefer.

Ad said:
This creates very uncomfortable pressure points, consequently producing numbness in the legs and thighs from lack of proper blood flow. Our toilet seats have 150% more contact surface area than a standard elongated seat, yet it can be used by a small person or a child in a safe way.
Especially if they're your kids, since they're likely to be fatasses too.

Ad said:
Considering ergonomics, the toilet seat and bowl have more than 6 extra inches in the front. We made the toilet bowl 17 ?? tall, which gives most people an easier time getting up. It also makes it ADA compliant. Finally, for those of us that are tall regardless of our weight, a standard toilet seat and a low toilet bowl create a very cramped and uncomfortable position. The GJ toilet has 10.5? longer legs and thighs clearance than a standard round toilet assuring a comfortable and ultra-relaxed experience.
This is just fluffy talk to try to normalize your fatassedness.

SAFETY ISSUES

The Great John is substantially more robust than a standard toilet.
This is because your ass is substantially more robust than a standard one.

Ad said:
Standard designs are not meant to withstand a big person.
Most toilets are designed to support people that know how to leave a table after they've eaten enough food.

Ad said:
For STABILITY, we designed a super wide base.
This is needed to support your unstable super wide ass.

Ad said:
To insure STURDINESS, we also added reinforcements into the base. Our toilets are tested to 2000 lb. To eliminate the problem of the SEAT SLIDING, we provide "Anti-Side" fins for safety.
The toilet will hold you, the real challenge might be you being able to walk to the toilet. Our next model might be a recliner so you'll never have to get up again.

Ad said:
This also prevents pinching.
Well, it tries to prevent pinching anyhow, but let's face it... you're so big you can pinch an inch on your forehead.

Ad said:
Finally, GJ has added a second SET OF ANCHORS at the front sides of the base to increase protection against movement of the unit from the floor.
You're a realist, you know that one set of anchors will never be enough for you. Now then, how many would you like.
