So, my old fatboy, backward compatible PS3 is dead. I think the GPU is fried now. Got about 2 weeks of play after the last fix I posted, but then got YLOD again and now it shows nothing on the screen when you start it up. :(

Luckily, a co-worker of mine sold me his kids PS3. They got it last summer free when getting a furniture set from Rooms-To-Go (actually it was a gift card for $400 to Best Buy for a 36" TV, and he had just bought a 50" two months prior, so he bought the PS3 and some movies and games). He said his kids haven't touched it in months, so he sold it to me for $100. :)

ok....

my Windows Live ID associated with my Docjigowatt GT is gone....

I tried to log into xbox.com today to see if I got any msg from the forums, etc, and it tried to create a new profile for me, like there was no e-mail associated with that

I'm not sure if the investigation has to do with that or not

So I talked to Xbox Support chat about my previous post, and it turns out it was because the investigation was finished and sent me the recovery email...they had to reset my windows live ID...sooo

I GOT MY ACCOUNT BACK, WOOOO

and my 400 pts was given back to me

Screw Microsoft...

for some reason my 12 month subscription was canceled today...It still had 3 months left! Tried to go to chat, they were experiencing "difficulties" so now time to call...can't stand calling them because of the billion questions they ask
