Is Rusev the guy that just came flying in out of the crowd and got immediately tossed after the Rock did his stupid thing? That was the most awkward point of the whole thing. It was like they were trying to do some surprise twist ending nah just kidding this guy is gone, too.
Yeah...I mean he was in the match for a while, so he didn't come out of the crowd, but he was the guy that came in at the end. The thing that makes it worse is they've done that now with the Miz and Santino Marella already, so the "ZOMG someone is still alive!" thing is nauseatingly overplayed already.

The other thing that is fucking stupid is that they brought in the Rock...so obviously a) they knew the crowd was going to hate the result, and b) they made the mind-numbingly stupid decision to bring in an old guy to try and get him a cheap pop, which everyone in the crowd was insulted by. So not only did they know they were doing something stupid in the first place, but they then made a more stupid decision as to how to deal with it. Vince Russo may be a lot of things, but wrestling worked best when guys like him or Jim Cornette came up with the ideas, and Vince McMahon either went with them or didn't...Vince McMahon is, like many bosses, great at filtering, but when it comes to original ideas, he blows anteater nipples.

I'm going to watch RAW tonight for the first fifteen minutes just to see what happens.

On another board they were talking about Rollins using his briefcase for a one on one match tonight with Lesnar and then getting outside assistance from Ambrose to win....if that happened they'd have my attention.

Why the hell would Ambrose help Rollins now?

That's what I can't get past. I stopped watching a while ago, but I still appreciate everything that goes on behind the scenes to make the crowd marks. If they know they're being marked then it's fucking pointless....and at this point they all know what it means when the Rock comes out. You're absolutely right...it's insulting.

If they had a side deal if Ambrose helped him he'd get a title shot as well, leading to a WM main event of The Shield. Ambrose is built on being crazy and unpredictable.
Uhhhhhhh...y'OK. That would make zero sense from any kind of booking standpoint, considering recent history...so I expect WWE to go with it immediately.
