Wrestling Chat (WWF, WWE, WCW, etc.)

more video has been released. looks like the dropkick he hit the dude with knocked him out, then when he fell to the ropes, the whiplash gave him some sort of cervical trauma. He died later at the hospital. Not in the ring like it was first reported

Yeah, looked like a total fluke that on the drop kick his neck just had enough and broke, he was brain dead before he hit the rope I'd guess with no knowledge whatsoever. Although I'm sure with all those bumps he's taken he could have easily had some degenerative issue that made him more susceptible, kinda similar to what ended Edge's career I think?

On a side note, not looking forward to Wrestlemania in the least.

Great Randy "Macho Man" Savage story:

Macho Man: Wild road from baseball washout to WWE Hall of Famer

Randall Mario Poffo was born in Columbus, Ohio, on Nov. 15, 1952, and raised by his parents, Angelo and Judy. Angelo played collegiate baseball and wrestled as an amateur. He also did a short stint in the Navy, setting the world record for consecutive sit-ups by doing 6,033 in four hours and ten minutes. He wanted to play professional baseball, but couldn’t cut it. A friend recommended that he try pro wrestling, a vocation Angelo pursued for the next three decades. The two Poffo boys fell in love with their dad’s line of work. Like Randy, Lanny Poffo also wrestled in the WWE, under the moniker of "the Genius."

Taker looked a lot better.

I'm pissed about the Sting match-why the NWO, why not Arn, Flair, Dusty? Plus, I fucking HATE DX...Sting wanted to save WCW from the NWO, what a cluster.

I could do without the Rock segment too, yawn.
