Wrestling Chat (WWF, WWE, WCW, etc.)

They could stretch it out for one more match if Lesnar is the champion come Wrestlemania 31. But Sting also teased at some convention over the weekend he'd be at Mania 31 as well as he gets ready to sign with WWE
Current plans seem to be Rock vs. Brock and Sting versus Taker, but those tend to change quite a bit over time.

I do think it's funny people think that was Takers last match. If anything, it sets up next years Mania to be his last match. Vince is notorious for having guys lose their final match. I think Taker will be the exception, but I don't think Vince wanted the streak to last forever. Compromise being lose this year, end the streak, go out on top next year. That's my thought process.

Wow, this is weird, unless this is some bizarre angle, but it looks like the Ultimate Warrior is dead! It's being reported by ABC and other media outlets:
http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/2014/04/09/wwe-says-the-ultimate-warrior-dead-at-54/7495659/

He was just on TV 24 hours ago, making his first appearance on RAW in almost 20 years. His speech during that return is a bit creepy:
Every man's heart one day beats its final beat, his lungs breath their final breath. And if what that man did in his life, makes the blood pulse through the body of others, and makes them believe deeper in something larger than life, then his essence, his spirit, will be immortalized by the storytellers, by the loyalty, by the memory, of those who honor him and make whatever the man did live forever.

Some favorite Warrior promos from back in the day:
This one is short, but sweet. The Warrior makes an unexpected entrance after Hawk and Animal from Legion of Doom state their case (47 second mark)

Ric Flair survived a plane crash, he's still kickin'. I think Hogan's body died 10 years ago, yet the spirit of Hulkamania refuses to let him move on.

Ehhh Flair was a made man long before he was in the WWF. I think by the time he got to the WWF in the early 90s he was on Wife #4 anyway

The Orange Goblin should've retired in the late 90s after the first NWO run petered out but like a bad case of herpes he keeps coming back.
