WR Verlon Reed (transfer to Findlay)

How great was it to see Verlon on the field Saturday. Love seeing him overcome that injury. He was really looking good last year.

Yeah absolutely...he started off well last year. Here's hoping he gets back to that top form.

Switch is due to Reed joining Adam Griffin on kick coverage, replacing Murray or Reeves (who switched to 26 for the same reason).

I remember being excited for the kid when he got that starting job. Top notch kid hampered by injuries.

Verlon is and was a true Buckeye. Thought he would be a big part of our receiving corps this year, but when things didn't pan out for him, I thought he would end up seeing the light next year with an increase in playing time. Saddened to see him leaving the program.

One of my least favorite parts of the year are when the inevitable transfers and "leaving the programs" come. Really hoped for this kid as he was local and not many Columbus City League guys make it to OSU.

If I remember correctly he hurt his knee going after an onside kick against MSU in the games final seconds. Kid gave 100% all the tiime. Good luck V.
