Quarterback Terrelle Pryor has gotten knicked as the season has gone along, Tressel said, and he sat out the second half of the win last week after the Buckeyes had built a 28-0 halftime lead. But Tressel said he expects no physical fall-off from Pryor, who will be playing in his home state (Jeannette is his hometown) and against the school that put on a full-court press for his services during the recruiting derby.

"I would expect him not to be debilitated," Tressel said. "Adrenaline is an amazing thing, even when you're feeling a little bit sore or whatnot. All of a sudden the blood starts flowing and the lights are turned on and it's time to go.

"I'm not sure any of our guys, whether it's the ones with the (bruised) ribs or the elbows or the ankles or the hips or the knees or the feet -- we've got a little bit of everything. He'll be ready to go."

I think that Pryor has a ways to go in his development. But I'm optimistic about it. I get the feeling that he is working toward improving, and I hope that we can do soon group Pryor with some of Ohio State's all-time greats.

...maybe I should have said, "if we were to get three more Purdue-like games, I would play Bauserman, or Guiton, or Sanzenbacher before I would go through a fifth Purdue game."

I fully expect TP to keep improving and to not have another game like that.

But two fumbles and two picks? Against a Purdue? Those are Nick Sheridan type of numbers and there has to be a backup plan if that were the norm.

Like I said, these next three games will tell us a lot about TP, and a whole lot of other players.

I just vbet a million on winning all three!!

I hope so, but I think the "light" comes on at the bowl game.. and unfortuantley, my perdiction is it will be in the Cap One bowl.

Points taken, but you left out W/L records (career and season) in the comparison, Zurp. Pryor is no Stevie B.
