Yeah, I know, but I so rarely hand them out while others hand them out like, well, like chicklets, that I had to "represent" Word.

Hey-- I'm not sure how Nasty would know what that meant. If I got a PM like that I would seriously consider alerting the Department of homeland Security....

Actually- this was only like my 3rd or 4th ding given ever... I actually hit him for the "Ginn and Juice" thing... that he put on another thread, as well. It was mostly my disdain for unoriginality that I dinged him. (I do not hold myself to such lofty standards. :wink2: )

mili do you have a college education? because if you do it sure isnt showing up. i said that the scouts who make these rankings do a pretty good job. i didnt say there were perfect. i didnt say that every number 1 ranked player goes into college and tears it up. im saying that most prospects that are ranked high coming out do a pretty good job in college, everybody in here needs to calm down up in here. everybody is like taking in personal and stuff lol. thats too bad.

Moron. You have the gall to ask me if I have a college education and you can't spell or even use proper punctuation. Go watch SportsCenter or something so you can get more material with which to argue. By the way, I have three college degrees: Bachelor of Science, Computer Science (Magna Cum Laude); Associate of Science, Personnel Management; and Associate of Science, Radio Communications Technology. What you have? An assholeciates or a beyatchelors?

mili you need some help man, you seem to have alot of anger in your system, im over it man, so calm down and move on.

oh yeah and go ohio state buckeyes and go troy smith

No anger, I just don't like dealing with uppity little shits...you know, those kind who come onto chat boards and question others' educational backgrounds while displaying absolutely no suck background of their own. If you're smart enough to do so, Einstein, check your rep points (hint, use "User CP" in the grey navigation bar above) and see what other folks think of you so far, and not just me.

I don't disagree - I've only been watching since the mid-80's - but seem to remember Rocket Ismail being pretty quick too.

I remember Musberger saying a couple of weeks ago that Teddy was the fastest football player he's seen since Bob Hayes. Hayes set the world 100-yard dash record, won an Olympic Gold medal and played for Dallas in the 60's. He was a solid receiver, not just a sprinter, and he changed Pro football in the '60s.

The other NFL'er that comes to my mind is Darrell Green of the Redskins, but he never handled the ball much.

Here's info on "bullet" Bob Hayes, for those of you too young to have seen him play.

Born in Jacksonville, Florida and excelling in both sprinting and football, Hayes first became successful as a sprinter. In 1963, he set the World Record in the 100 yard dash at 9.1, earning for himself the nickname of "fastest man alive".

At the
1964 Summer Olympics, in Tokyo, Hayes had his finest hour as a sprinter. First, he won the 100 m by tying the current World Record in the 100 m. This was followed by a second gold medal in the 4 x 100 m relay, which also produced a new World Record. The relay race was also Hayes' last race as a track and field athlete as he permanently switched to football after it.

At the end of that same year, he signed with the
Dallas Cowboys, playing as a wide receiver. His first two seasons were most successful, leading the league both times in receiving touchdowns. In 1971, Hayes' last good season with Dallas, he won the Super Bowl, becoming the only person so far to win both an Olympic gold medal and the Super Bowl.

Hayes played one season for the
San Francisco 49ers, before retiring.

On September 18, 2002, Hayes died in his hometown Jacksonville of kidney failure aged 59, after battling prostate cancer and liver ailments.

Hayes was close to being elected to the
Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2004, but was denied the opportunity in the final round of decision making. The decision was marred by controversy, with many claiming that the Hall of Fame Senior Selection Committee had a bias against members of the Dallas Cowboys and other NFL teams. Shortly after the announcement of the new 2004 Hall of Fame members, long-time Sports Illustrated writer Paul Zimmerman resigned from the Selection Committee in protest of the decision to leave Hayes out of the Hall.

If Junior Ginn does see time as a corner can you imagine his TD/Int ratio? Every pick he gets he will be running back against offensive players instead of defensive and special teams guys that are SUPPOSED to be able to tackle!
