WR Ted Ginn, Jr. (Official Thread)

This might shock some of the younger folk in the Miami Dolphins viewing audience, maybe even be an eye opener to some looking in here.

The following statement is true:

Ted Ginn Jr. is getting off to a more productive start with the Dolphins than Jerry Rice did at this stage in his first year with the 49ers.

Harrington doesnt really throw a bad ball. Jenkins usually has a #1 or #2 DB on him while Carter is getting a #3 or safety on him and the fact Carolina has a lot more weapons that need to be focused on.

How do you figure, jenkins is the third receiver on the falcons where drew carter is the number two.

:slappy: :slappy:

Is it hard to see with those scarlet-colored glasses on?

That's one of the most ridiculous statements I've ever read on here.

Despite being NFC rookie of the year, Rice didn't make his first catch till Oct. 6th. About all I could find since I can't seem to get game by game statistics anywhere. So yes Ginn is off to a fster start calender wise but he won't sniff Rice's 49catches for 927yrds but might get close to his 3tds. Very similar Rookie stat number between Holmes and Rice though.

The October 6th date marks the first TD catch. And, for Thump, no my point wasn't that Ginn has Rice written all over his future career - it is simply that even the greatest ones can have a hard time getting into their full groove.

Ginn vs. Jets

Ted Ginn Jr. sees some action

WR Ted Ginn Jr, whom the Dolphins' selected with the No. 9 pick in this year's draft, saw his most extensive action of the season.

Ginn spent most of the game sprinting downfield on streak routes but caught his first pass of the regular season in the fourth when QB Trent Green found him on a quick hitch in the fourth quarter. Ginn caught the ball near the line of scrimmage and sprinted 15 yards upfield.

"It was great to be out there playing football and having fun," said Ginn, who returned three kickoffs for 80 yards.
