Too much focus on Ginn. I'm sorry, but I don't even think he's our best reciever. Holmes is. He runs better routes. I've been to all three games...Ginn doesn't get open as much as Holmes, and Homles also has better hands and makes better decisions when he has the ball. Ginn was good last year because he wasn't targeted like he is now, and because he just went out there and played...he didn't think about anything, or try to do too much...he just did what came natural.
Now he looks like he's trying to think too much and do too much. Being a good football player is more than just being able to run fast...and right now, that's all Ted Ginn is showing me, is that he's fast. He's not playing fundemental football. He runs with the ball unprotected, and trys to turn every play into a touchdown...probably because everybody talked about how he could score every time he touched the ball. Quit trying to score Teddy...just catch the ball and look downfield for blockers and holes, and run...take what the defense gives you...don't try to do more than even God himself could do. That's what made him good last year...he kept it simple. Ted Ginn Jr. has the ability to be one of the greats at tOSU. Right now, he's not that good...but I have faith he will be.
I do agree that we need to go downfield more with Ginn...AND HOLMES. We have deep threats...we need to use them!
