Santonio's contract runs out at the end of the year, he's suspended for the first 4 games, and his actions as of late off the field haven't helped him out much.

Santonio needs to clean it up...nude pictures on the internet, publically stating "wake n bake" on his twitter account last week while under investigation for the latest club incident. Not to mention he was pulled over with joints in his car last year and in the substance abuse program. Why he'd write "wake n bake" on his twitter account is baffling.

He is likely out for 4 games, and the Steelers have had enough of the marijuana use and run ins with the law. Hopefully Santonio can keep his nose clean in New York. Sanchez has nice weapons in New York. If stonehands can ever learn to catch, that's a pretty sick combo.

People rationalizing this makes me laugh. Getting rid of a superbowl MVP for a draft pick who will most likely get cut or rarely see the field is insane!!!!

Beyond awful for the Steelers. A 5th round pick for a starter on every team in the league (a number 2 on many, but still). Terrible, even if he will be suspended. He's a very productive receiver. Great pickup by the Jets.
