The ruling on the field is overturned? Link here: possibly NSFW Was it really a touchdown? Take a closer look.

look at the angle of his legs, and the placement of the back toe, that's virtually the same instant as the SI cover above.

too bad that's not the right moment in time...

Also, take a look at Franciso's left foot in the picture above and compare it to the location in jwinslow's and the one below. The pic above and the si shot, which Josh pointed out are about the same time, are way after Holmes first secures the catch.

Wrong moment in time? Pffft...

Whoever took out the trash..thank you. And those are some great pics JWins & Buckskin. I've never seen that high school one. Now that I think about it, you really don't see many bad or bland football photos of Santonio. It seems like all of his motions on the field are so smooth, and he obviously plays fast so it makes him a great subject for action photos. You can photograph a player, and it will look good but fairly ordinary. But with Holmes you can almost envision the play in real time as you view the still photo. Just commenting on all the incredible photos I have viewed this week, past and present.

ESPN's ticker, quoting an NFL VP (the error has been there for over an hour):

"Santonio Holmes should have been accessed (sic) excessive celebration penalty after his game-winning TD"

And Brett Hull's skate was in the crease and the goal should have been disallowed. Can't do anything about it now and it may or may not have made a difference, but they missed the call.

Off-topic:

Man are there a ton of typo's on ESPN. One NBA game popped up stats for Shaq but had his last name as O'neill. :shake:

"Corporate America has not only become increasingly risk-averse when it comes to endorsements, but it is also now extraordinarily focused on the value associated with endorsers," said David Carter, principal of the Los Angeles-based Sports Business Group and executive director of the Sports Business Institute at the University of Southern California.

Which jives up perfectly with Michael Phelps's sponsors standing by his side.
