WR Santonio Holmes (Super Bowl XLIII MVP)

Not debating who is better than who.

Too be honest, I'm embarassed of Santonio as a Buckeye fan.

I understand being embarrassed by some of his choices but he seems like a good guy at heart who takes good care of his kids. I don't see why you'd be embarrassed of him as a person.

I don't know the best way to put this.

I think he makes stupid choices off the field. I don't think he's a good representitive of tOSU off the field. When I think "Tressel" I don't think "Santonio."

No, Santonio is Santonio. He's still young and has a lot of growing up to do. He'll learn. This post season he's been exceptional on the field, so lets just start with that. Plus, when I think Tressel I have a hard time not putting him in the same realm of some saints. Ok, so maybe I'm reaching, but I think you get my point.

PS, I was at Disney yesterday and I didnt see him :(

LULZ!

Did you happen to catch his interview with Mike & Mike, in which he said that he was probably happier after winning the MVP than he was when his kids were born?

No he didn't say 'probably'. He said that the feeling he was experiencing inside was so indescribable that he could only compare it to being a father. Even so, people judging is pretty comical to me

If we all refrained from cheering for any Buckeye who has made some boneheaded decisions in their life, Ohio Stadium would be a very quiet place.
I'm not saying I'm refraining from cheering for any Buckeye that has made a bad decision..

I'm happy for Santonio.. he's fun to watch and a helluva athelte..

I will not forget all of his bad decisions.. the dude has made more than one bad choice.. maybe saying "I'm embarassed" was a little over the top..

I'm not proud to call Santonio a "Buckeye."

See, most people do put Tressel with 'the saints'... I don't.

But, Tressel represents the universtiy very well on & off the field. I don't think he's without fault, far from it. But I do think he understands how large his audience is and the magnitude of decsions he does make.

Tressel is not a typical "here & now - me first" type of guy - which from all the headlines th past couple years, it what Santonio strikes me as.

Lebron's comment on Tone's imitation....

James added that he was honored the Steelers' Santonio Holmes celebrated his game-winning touchdown catch in the Super Bowl by mimicking James' trademark tossing of the chalk.

"For him to think of that are making probably one of the best plays in the history of the Super Bowl, it was humbling for myself," James said. "It was like, wow. For him to salute me like that was unbelievable."

I just wanted to say that I thought Santonio was a great college athlete, but I didn't think he would pan out in the NFL. After missing on the pass before his TD there, I thought that was a key play and may have proven me right. I watched his interview on ESPN, he seemed to think at that time that he missed his chance at Super Bowl history and became "One of those guys." Well, he certainly made up for it with a huge catch at the end, it was an awesome completion. Congrats to him on winning MVP, great game all together!
