WR/RB Lamaar "Flash" Thomas (transfer to New Mexico)

If you mean as a kick returner....maybe; as a WR.....no. TP is still going through the progression before he can really spread the ball around. His primary targets have been Posey followed by Sanzenbacher.......he hasn't gone to Duron a whole lot. So it is hard to see Lamaar getting the ball just yet. However, I would love to see him on a reverse.....he could leave people in the dust.

Once the score is, let's say tipping heavily in favor of the S&G, we may see him in one of the WR sets. A return TD would be nice.

Saw him on the field, but I was very disappointed that he didn't get any carries or get thrown to this game. Incredibly we had 10 guys on the stat sheet that rushed the football. If I were Flash.....do I start worrying about my future with the Buckeyes? I thought that JT should have got him the ball a few times today......he just had the 1 KR all game. Was wondering what you guys think?

Not trying to sound negative here, and obviously it's just my uninformed opinion because I don't know what goes on behind the scenes, but it wouldn't shock me one bit if Flash were to transfer after this year. He's just not getting the opportunities we envisioned for him when he came here. I think he's got the talent to go to another school where he can show those talents in a number of ways and succeed. Though I don't wish it, I wouldn't blame him.

Lamaar should stick to the idea of playing receiver. He is still a very young guy, and is getting some decent opportunities on kickoff returns (he's getting more 'touches' from the 18 KO returns than Carter's 13 catches). Get better on becoming a wideout and the opportunities will be there for him.

He could be a good H back, but with all the talent that is on offense he might not see alot of playing time unfortunately. It is a good problem to have.

HB- overloaded
WR- Sanz, Posey, Carter, then maybe Flash.

Plus we have been using alot of FB due to the running ability that we have. Sucks though... I had hopes to see him breakout.
