WR Ray Small (official thread)

interesting... so some say that he did verbal, but will still end up at tOSU? do kids just get really caught up with everything out there or do the coaches pressure them to commit while on their visits? it just seems that they get a lot of the silent verbals from visits that don't always materialize.

i'm just wondering why the USC boards aren't talking about it...

Not being smart-alecky or the like, but have you seen the boards at wearesc? It is running some kind of abstract / minimalist version of BBoard software - so the thread may be buried deep?

Moreover, I doubt the Trojan faithful are concerned too much about recruiting at this time of year. USC always seems content to hang tight for their top recruits (in fact they are already ahead of their commitment rate from last year by 3 verbals).

I see that Gouxsgate has gotten into the discussion over on bn and he is a good source for USC info. I think we could lose this one. I would hate to see bn if true. There would be a major meltdown over there.

I still am confident, but I think I am also going to go with the 50-50 route as of now.

he may very well be a silent verbal... but he has a lot of time left before he announces and who do you think he's going to see more of? the Buckeyes or the Trojans? he'll be here for every home game and still has an official to take here. i think most at this point are counting on his LA crush to ware off between now and the AA bowl where he is likely to announce. still has me worried though, but gotta believe that the Bucks can win him back if need be.
