Arvell Nelson passed for 213 yards and three touchdowns to lead the No. 1-ranked Tarblooders (3-0) in their Senate Athletic League opener.
Glenville was leading, 14-12, in the second half when Nelson helped the Tarblooders pull away with touchdown passes of 21 yards to Bryant Milligan and 66 yards to Raymond Small. Milligan had four catches for 55 yards and two TDs. Small, who also scored a rushing touchdown, caught three passes for 85 yards. Linebacker Gino Sturdivant had eight solo tackles, one assist and a sack.
Small says he loved the game atmosphere, but was disappointed in the loss (sounded like from a fans standpoint, not a disappointment in the school). he got to talk to Coach Hazell while there. tOSU and USC are still his leaders and he will probably visit Iowa and Florida as well as his leaders.
When I saw his videos, I kind of thought the same thing. Only difference being him playing wide receiver.
But it does make you wonder if he could play runningback and receiver on the next level. He certainly has the gamebreaking type talent it takes to do that.
