I would also have Graham at #2 behind Smith, there are a lot of good targets at WR in the '24 class but aside from the unreal athletic attributes of Graham, his game film and the way he understands the game really stand out to me. Whoever we get outside of Smith and Graham to me is gravy.OMG the comments from the people watching are killing me! "Ohhh my God..." and "Ooooohhhh, (squeal)"
His get off is ridiculous. His lateral move to get vertical is insane and then he's blazing fast so I'm putting him at #2 behind Smith at this point. Those 2 together gonna be another Olave and Wilson but bigger.
I'm hearing the number in '24 will be more than likely 4 now. There may be some attrition come the next Transfer portal window...I would also have Graham at #2 behind Smith, there are a lot of good targets at WR in the '24 class but aside from the unreal athletic attributes of Graham, his game film and the way he understands the game really stand out to me. Hmm could be some attrition in the portal, I would imagine we'll know on that after spring camp. If there's an attrition plan (so to speak) then 4 would make sense. I won't pretend to know what the situation is, but I would say WR is likely the most competitive position we have right now in the spring. MH Jr and Egbuka are clearly at the top, but beyond them the fight for PT is very real.I'm hearing the number in '24 will be more than likely 4 now. And that makes the 4th spot(assuming that McClellan is the 3rd WR commit) that much more intriguing. Because a spot will be help for Trader as long as possible, but it'd be hard to pass up on guys like: Hudson, E Moore, T Moore, and newly offered Xavier Jordan.
But back to Graham, who has had nothing short of a metioric rise in the last year. And I think in camp settings he's going to continue to blow coaches away with his footwork and speed. He's the fastest WR I've seen from IN since Terry McLaurin. But McLaurin came from a much more prestigious program.
I think there is a clear 4 at top: MHjr, Egbuka, Fleming and X Johnson. After that Ballard is fighting off the '22 and '23 EEs. With only 1 ball, there's going to be some departures. But the room is so strong, and I've said on other boards, but I believe that '24 could be even better than '23.Hmm could be some attrition in the portal, I would imagine we'll know on that after spring camp. But back to Graham, to me we hold his spot open no matter what. Kid is special.
Yeah X and Fleming coming back is not ideal for those behind the top 4...probably will have some departures, but reality is that next year the WR position will be wide open to win a spot (I would presume 3 of the top 4 likely are in their last seasons at OSU). So patience could pay off for WRs in the 22/23 class and forward. In '24, these top guys should be chomping at the bit because immediate PT should be there if they are ready to play. Graham strikes me as one that will likely fight for PT right away, his route running seems pretty advanced, great athleticism, great hands and catch radius...question is will he be a willing blocker. That is is usually the big question mark for a WR coming in here as a frosh.I think there is a clear 4 at top: MHjr, Egbuka, Fleming and X Johnson. This class might end up... man I can't even say it. No jinx
You never know when they're going to bail on a season.....so maybe it'll be 1 or 0.And hopefully for the next 3-5 years he only has two trips up to Ann Arbor to beat the skunk weasels.
That's true, they did ruin one of the longest running rivalries because they knew they were going to lose. I'll never forget that and I hope nobody else does, coward Hairball should have been fired. But I digress, Mylan is not going to end up there so I will save my hatred for another thread. You never know when they're going to bail on a season.....so maybe it'll be 1 or 0.
