WR Michael "Cantguardmike" Thomas (B1G Champion, National Champion, Pro Bowl, All-Pro, 2019 OPOY, New Orleans Saints)

First Marotti will team them how to run. You'd be surprised how many of these kids show up with poor form. Butch Reynolds was amazing at making kids faster simply by changing their running style. I've heard similar things about Marotti's program...kids will get faster by learning how to waste less energy. I think Thomas will be a 4.6-4.7 which is plenty fast if you are a good route runner.

That's the key. With his size and athleticism, he'll be plenty fast if his routes are correct. Good route running will get you separation plenty, and in that case a 4.6 runner can do real damage. Jerry Rice is the perfect example.

Do we really need this kid fast, as much as we need him to consistently catch the ball? Id be fine if he never broke away from dbs, as long as he can go up and make a good catch in coverage and move the chains. Keyshawn wasn't a burner, but he could snatch the ball out of the air consistently
