The four-star wide receiver from Dayton (Ohio) Wayne looked to be as ready for college as any prospect in the game. Smith, nicknamed "Blue," has length, soft hands and can overpower cornerbacks with his strength. He had some of the best catches all week, including a big touchdown in the game where he made a move on a defensive back to waltz into the end zone. Smith has signed with Ohio State and, like Ruckert, looks ready to step into the Buckeyes' attack.
I think he can form a heck of a tandem with Martell with his size and separation skills. Kind of like Manziel and Evans when they were at aTmHe was the guy that proved the most to me at FNL. Had slot-like skills at 6'5+. See my short report on him from FNL on 7/24/17 (page 8)
