...annnnnnd this proved true today too.Jalin has shown he is, IMO, THE most explosive player on this roster. Samuel is up there, but Jalin is one of those rare guys that every time he touches the ball, he's a threat to house it from anywhere on the field. He just seems to glide over the field. He'll get his head straight, then look out. We've heard since Urban arrived about the "Percy Harvin" role...Jalin is the closest thing we've had to it. And I think soon enough he will be regularly having the same impact.
I very much admire this staff's willingness to give kids chances to work though their mistakes. We saw it with Dontre vs. Sparty, and again last week when Jalin stayed on the field after his gaffes. They recognize how important these kids are to make this offense go, and that many times throwing them right back into the fray is way more beneficial than sitting them down to dwell on their mistakes. Kudos to them for that, and I think they'll be rewarded handsomely.
He's already a special weapon.I wonder where those "fans" are now that tweeted all those disgusting comments at Jalin...
Great game kid, he's going to be a special weapon for this offense and special teams for the near future regardless of Dontre coming back from injury.
He's already a special weapon.
Unless you're in the enviable position of having an entire arsenal and don't have to rely on the same weapon all the time. Jalin is definitely a special weapon as a freshman. Fortunately he's one of several we have.No he's a player who had a great game. Weapons produce consistenly, which I'd something he should become
