WR Duron Carter (Official Thread)

By the time its all said and done and the name Carter is brought up, its possible that the name 'Duron' will be the first one mentioned this time around.

Our depth at WR is impressive and this kid is scary good.

So it seems like Mr. Carter didn't take long to crack the starting lineup! Can't wait to see this kid on the field, why not throw him out there and gain gametime experience!?! Hope he gives em hell out there on Saturday, Go Bucks!!!

He's off to fine start on what should be a great career, but he's in the 2-deep at this point, not the starting lineup. He's listed behind Posey at one WR spot with Sanzo and T-Wash being 1-2 at the other.

When they go with 3 WRs, Posey, Sanzo and T-Wash should be the first 3 guys.

He's seems to have it all. If only he had that pedigree that usually helps out with technique and overall knowledge of how to play a position.....

oh wait....

Yeah this kid is gonna rock the shoe for 3 years!!!!!!

It is amazing how quickly things change in CFB. Two years ago in the season opener against YSU Antonio Henton-to-Taurian Washington looked like the future. Schoenhoft was saying Washington was great at catching the deep ball and had been one of the most impressive freshmen he'd seen.

Only 24 months later and everybody is ready to dial up Pryor-to-Carter every single play like it's a video game.

Yeah give Carter his time. The main thing for him is filling out his body a bit and just getting accustomed to the speed of the game. He has a huge leg up on any other freshman WR I've seen but in the end we will still see Posey, Sanzenbacher, and Washington as the 3 wideouts.

Washington, as I've stated numerous times on numerous sites, is ready to go. Tressel bemoaned his lack of consistency before, and now it seems that he's put it all together.

Carter will get his fair share of touches however, and I'm excited to see his development this season.
