I haven't seen hide nor hair of him on the field.

Didn't know if he was banged up or just going through the normal freshman growing pains.

Also, we are often running our 5 wide sets with 3 wide recievers, Ballard, and a RB split out of the backfield. Since he is 4th on the reciever depth chart, his major opportunity for playing time is gone.

So ... what you are saying is that since Small came back Dane has been replaced in the 5 wide sets with 3 wide recievers, Ballard, and a RB split out of the backfield.

because those 4 and 5 wide formations have started out as Ace, three wide sets, but then Todd backs up into the 'gun, and the RB trots out wide...

it's personnel packages, not formations...

The only #12 I saw on the field was Tyler Donovan and he was on his back a lot. Been watching the replay and I didn't see Sanzo on the field in the second half because it was mostly Beanie and Mo running the ball. If he played it was in the first half. It's hard to pickup numbers on a tape recording though.

He was in the game last week on the final play.

There's two more Big Ten games, but the way Robo, Hartline and Small are playing Dane will have to wait for his call. Still good to see him getting PT so far as a freshman. His breakout game may have to wait until next year.

I alternate ends when shooting, and think I saw Sanz in the slot in the 1st qtr (otherwise the 3rd), on the east side of the field (or top from tv view).
