While Murray commanded most of the attention, the player more often in the spotlight had a starkly different night. Harvey senior wideout Chris Fields, an Ohio State recruit, had a frustrating home finale. He caught two passes for 23 yards and gained 36 yards rushing on four carries. He scored Harvey's lone TD on an eight-yard run in the third quarter.
Fields also drew an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty late in the fourth for arguing a noncall when his legs tangled with defensive back Tyler Erb, who did an outstanding job covering Fields.
"I didn't mean no disrespect," Fields said. "I said something I shouldn't have. I was emotional. This is my last home game. This place is my field, where I grew up. This is my seed, my home."
Fields had so few touches because the Eagles put consistent pressure on quarterback Richard Barnes, who was sacked three times, threw an interception and twice had to chase down errant snaps, one of which Geneva recovered and quickly converted into a touchdown for a 21-0 lead with 1:15 remaining in the first half.
I know that article is old, but I haven't been on the recruiting forums for a while. I would like to say, that though that personal foul could be frustrating, I don't find it for two reasons.OSUBasketballJunkie;1287859; said:
