WR Blaize Exline (transfer to ???)

I can't imagine why it's necessary to guess/predict a ceiling on the potential of a walk-on on the heels of his commitment.

Guys can certainly beat the odds, and scout team "bodies" are integral.

Agreed. Let the kid get on campus and live out his dream. What's better, a walk-on that sees it through and graduates with a degree from tOSU, or a 5-star kid that leaves after a year bc he doesn't play enough and doesn't really want to be a part of something special?

Give me the walk-on that the coaches feel can make a positive contribution to the program.

Not sure why it’s seen as a negative to say that young man will be used for depth since he’s a walk on. That’s what walk ons are for. We speculate about recruits all of the time, some kids who are 5 stars we speculate that they could be stars, while lower rated guys who are more unknown are seen as projects. This is no different. He’s a Buckeye football player no different than any other on the team, but his odds of seeing the field are less. It is what it is, and I said what I said, not sure why the butthurt. He’s a walk on guys, I didn’t say it about a guy like Caleb Burton or Kyion Graves(who at one time was only seen as depth or a project, didn’t see anyone up in arms over that assessment)…
