Funny that Keanu Reeves was an ex-tOSU QB in that movie and the aforementioned Replacements.

not only was johnny utah an all-american, all-conference quarterback for the ohio state university, but he also led the bucks to the rose bowl. unfortunately, he blew out his knee. naturally, the ex-quarterback phenom became an undercover fbi agent. don't they all?

obviously, none of the skydiving surfer bank robbers were college football fans. they would have otherwise noticed that bodhi has johnny utah.

johnny utah? lol. i wish i had a cool name like that.

Whence he could investigate another former Buckeye QB for gambling infractions...
hmm... that gets me thinking. i'm wondering whether casey clausen was an undercover while at tennessee. that guy had to be no younger than 35! when your college qb has a bald spot, something's not right.

here's a pic right after his career at tennessee:

The worst movie that actually tried to be good and had a big budget has to be Batman and Robin - playing hockey with that huge diamond? OMG!

Waterworld sucked major ass too, but then almost everything with Costner behind it does.

Someone mentioned Deep Impact - I actually love that movie, but I can see where some guys might not like the over-the-top emotionalism.

What was the one where Goldie Hawn was suposed to be a HS football coach? That was one of the worst also. Stupid.

Goldie was in Wildcats, and that movie was pretty cool for young kids. Shouldn't be on the list.

Some others:

1969
Sphere
Twister
Super Mario Brothers
The Stoned Age (sorry Crump's Brother, this was to Dazed & Confused what "The Black Hole" was to 2001)
Vertical Limit/Cliffhanger
The Swarm

Speaking of the fruit from Rudy, what was the movie where a bunch of kids at a boarding school are taken hostage? Toy Soldiers? Lou Gossett Jr. was in it also. Pretty dreadful.

I also hated Natural Born Killers and Any Given Sunday. Oliver Stone is an overrated windbag.

Inspector Gadget was painful to watch. I know it was for kids, but anybody over 3 would think it sucked.

The Avengers was an abomination, and a major disappointment since the original TV series was pretty good.

The Adventures of Pluto Nash, starring Eddie Murphy.

Good calls on Event Horizon, Gigli.
