or that Nike ALWAYS ruins their designs by lazily regurgitating the designs across many schools in one year so people recognize the Nike brand instead of the schools. before excuses like seam lines were used. this time they ruined what could've been a great tribute helmet by giving Georgia the helmet first yeah, intellectual prowess is needed here, what with labeling any contrary viewpoints as suited for an Amish lifestyle. the irony of that couldn't be any richer. then they would have plenty to choose from, instead of making up uniforms and using a particular team as the PR spin for their money grab.

When complaints relate to uniforms that haven't been advertised as "throwbacks" or as "resembling" anything in particular, then having people complain that there is no resemblance ... well, it's just absurd. It's like people complaining that Heidi Klum doesn't resemble Julia Roberts. Who the heck said she should?

I'm active in uniform discussions only to point out how ridiculous uniform discussions are. And the idea that uniform design should bow to "fan preference" rather than player preference is self-important and self-indulgent.

Back to the point at hand - I'm looking forward to seeing Braxton Miller's development manifested in this game. No huge winds predicted for the game, so maybe we'll see more passing. I'm thinking it will be needed.

Please. I find this somewhat insulting to those of us who have an IQ in the triple digits. You see, I too find uniform discussions pretty ridiculous which is why I do not participate in them.

I will side with those who believe that your participation is not due to what you state above, but more to continue to be the board contrarian.
