Wow.... some guys really take a lot from 30 meaningful offensive snaps. I'd love to know what you folks talking about Pryor's play expect an offense who has the ball for about 15 minutes of game time, and only about 11:00 of game time that was meaningful (in that there was some question as to if it was a pass or a run), to do. Should Ohio State have had 500 yards of offense too?

This strikes me as ridiculous as the people calling in to 97.1 after Illinois bitching about a blow-out/shut-out.

I could give a shit if Ohio State gains a single yard, so long as they have 1 more point than their opponent at the end of 60 minutes.

Exactly.

Did the offense struggle today? Yes. How were they supposed to develop a rhythm though? The two most important drives of the day they moved the ball and got points.

The fact is 2006 was the last time we had a qb with 3 years of experience. We were 8th in the nation in scoring offense, and defeated the #2 team twice. (tex on road and scum)

Of course that's all forgotten when you lose in the NC game, or to the list of the other elite programs listed in the previous posts. If losing to top 5 schools is your worst problem, that's an awesome problem to have.

This is like complaining about having too much money to count.

btw, 2006 was -ONLY- 3 years ago.

if you don't consider scum a big game your not a tOSU fan. stop spending so much time listening to espin. half of the starters on the team you saw take the field today were still in highschool during two of those games.

really makes me chuckle. we've managed to win 4 big 10 titles in 4 years graduating a senior class with more wins than any other class in tOSU history and didn't record a single "big" win during that span.

AMEN brotha!:oh:

this isn't fair. Pryor played very poorly today. he threw one bad INT and should have had another. his other throws were not on the mark, except the deep pass. he's also had a problem all year of throwing the ball too high.

and I'm extremely annoyed with every single one of his runs bouncing outside. he never cuts inside....every one of his jukes is to the nearest sideline.

I don't expect 500 yards of offense, and I realize Wisky plays ball control. But he still played very poorly today and I feel very fortunate that the D and STs stepped up the way they did.

oh and 2 of the 6 losses were by a team that was picked to finish 3RD IN THE BIG 10. not in the nation people, in the big 10.

the big game argument is such a joke. if we had beaten state penn or usc either year they would have finished the season OUTSIDE of the top 10 anyway and wouldn't have counted. we would STILL have a "big game" loosing streak of 3 and the same people would have the same bitch.

think about it, state penn with 2 conference losses in 08 with their candy ass oc schedule? no way no how they make the top 10. usc this year? 3-2 with a loss to washington? ha! last years usc team is the only one thats even debatable.

nothing more than a flawed argument for small minds.

YouTube - MUST WATCH: Honey Badger-The Most Fearless Animal on Earth

Due to their fearlessness, Badgers haven't had any known enemies. You are their first. This is quite a zoological discovery.

Unlike Alvarez', Bielema's teams don't personify the Badgers who symbolize their program. They actually relent quite easily.....ironically that's their main problem.

The irony of the fact that I abandon the moniker "Bucky Katt" for Wisconsin week and then adopt an avatar of a cartoon animal related to BOTH the badger and the wolverine is not wasted on me.

I would say you should re-name yourself Wappa Goo in honor of Pryor, but I hear the nickname is already taken :shake:
