Great plays by Staal. Malkin, and Crosby to get 3 goals in about 6 minutes.
The shorthanded goal by Staal was a killer for the Wings.
I thought the Pens got a break on a couple of calls early (Malkin sold one penalty, and a call on the hit to Lidstrom would've given Detroit over 90 seconids of 5-on-3), but it was a well-called game in the second period.
When a team loses the lead on a shortie, it's hard to blame the refs. And that was right after the home fans wanted a call when Malkin broke away shorthanded and got caught from behind as he was shooting, but didn't get the call).
Good defense by Malkin started a couple of those scoring chances, and he and Crosby each have a sweet assist.
