I don't find his posts to be whining. The officials have stunk. The Wings did look defeated. They also looked like they lost their composure.

Still, Go Pens.

Agree 100%. I'm more of a Jackets fan now because I live here, but I grew up a Penguins fan when they sucked and I was there for the two cup years. I still hate Ray Ferraro for his interview after the Isles beat the Pens in 93. Dickhead. "I guess they're going home!!" Anyway.

The Wings looked old last night. I don't know how else to describe it. Malkin is turning it up a notch.

Go Pens.

Personally, I didn't consider anything you posted in this Game 4 thread to be whining.

Which is why I've sent a message to your wife asking for her to arrange that you get once again get stuck baby-sitting tomorrow night.

they weren't old. they were just not playing to their full potential. when they do, though.......watch the fuck out man. that kind of hockey is so pure and awesome it will melt your eyes. as long as the refs don't get in the way.

Wings fans drive me nuts.

Back off.

We played crappy (and that doesn't mean the Penguins didn't play well), we just looked like we were standing still all night. I kind of wish Pittsburgh would have scored more on us... maybe they'd get it out of their system. :)

Saturday should be interesting, whether Datsyuk comes back or not.

That's exactly what I thought. I don't think it had to do with DET being tired, as much as PIT figuring out how to disrupt the Wings in their defensive zone. When the Wings went to regroup with the puck, the Pens nearly always had a forechecker busting ass to force a bad pass. The Wings' defensmen's passing was atypically poor, which led to quite a few chances for the Pens. The Wings looked faster in games 1 and 2 because they were a step ahead of the Pens, game 4, the Pens were on them before they could make that first pass. It will be interesting to see if the Pens can keep it up on the road.
