He had the puck in the corner of his own end. No one around him. Instead of skating he stood there for a couple of seconds and then fired the puck right onto Helm's stick. Helm skated to the net and scored short side.

That was just awful. The whole team was just standing still, and two of them in front of their own goalie. How do you do that, let alone to start a period. The whole team looked confused.

Wings. Another just awful defensive play by the Pens. See my previous post. Stuart scored on a slapper outside the circle, mostly due to the Pens screening their own goalie (with 2 guys none the less).

Wings. Guerin and Gonchar screened MAF. Gonchar was standing in the circle to MAF's left, doing absolutely nothing. Guerin was about three inches away from Fleury, which is not where he's supposed to be. There was a Wing on the other side of the net, but not in a screen position.

Maybe they were supposed to be where they were. Maybe I'm just pissed off at various things right now (non-hockey). But I don't think that's what it is.

And shit like that is why I said earlier that Crosby has been playing better than Malkin. He's had some big mistakes in this series. Stupid fucking penalty there, he checked a guy into Fleury in game 2 I believe that resulted in a goal, he's missed some open guys in the slot, etc.

He's been playing great, minus about 5 minutes that have hurt.

Another dumb penalty. I thought it was an accident until the second replay. Brooks put that blade into the guy's calf and pulled back.

EDIT: Eh, I thought it was a penalty. If they call the trip earlier against the Wings, that's a legit call. Don't get me wrong though, the guy sold it. :p
