What's up with the odds? In this thread, I'm currently seeing a fraction of what was promised, at 100:1, but my "Your Bets" section of the Bookie still shows it as the original 10,000:1

After a discussion with Admins (which occurred before Oh8ch's vCrisis thread), it was determined that this Vbet would be changed to pay out at 100-1. In order to do that, it will have to be abandoned, and then paid out manually, since the vBanking system retains the original odds for each poster when the wager was made, and it can't be altered on the payout line prior to settlement.

This determination was made in order to maintain some integrity to the vBanking system, by avoiding outrageous vInflation, and to minimize the ngative impact that a huge influx of vCash could have had on the use of vCash as an additional incentive for actual BP cash donations.

We are working on identifying all 115 posters that placed wagers on somebody else starting, since only the first 20 show inside this thread. The payments will be made by individual donations.

For those wondering, I will still lose the $99 vMillion I placed on the losing side. That will be part of the 478 million donated to LJB, who will now be the vRichest poster on the board.

Nobody will say it as the fear of being banned scares them, but this is BS.

It's not my site, I understand this but I think you should pay what was promised.

We fully understand that there will be some controversy regarding the decision. Nobody's going to be banned for expressing an opinion about it in a reasonble manner.

But since most of the people who "took the bait" only did so because of the huge odds, a 100-1 payoff is still a pretty good deal.
