Completely different team. UConn had one real winner on that team last year... Marcus Williams. Everyone else just went through the motions and expected to win.

Florida, on the other hand, has five guys who have that winning attitude and have actually won. They know what it takes. They play well together. And their only real competition is A. UCLA, a team that they beat last year for the title w/ Jordan Farmar; B. Wisconsin and Texas AtM, two teams that play well together, but don't really have the talent to compete with Florida; and C. Ohio State and Carolina, two teams that are freshmen-laden and tournament inexperienced.

I'll take Florida.

Good post, but I think you have to add Pitt into the discussion as well...They are very good defensively and I think they could give Florida trouble...

UNC, Duke, Tenn, Uconn.
we will have a hard time beating any of these without Brandie. That was such a hugh loss and I feel just terrible about her and the Lady Buckeyes.
Jim will have to change his game plan in order to play star more, and have more front court involvement in order for the ladies to get very far.

My Final Four:
Wisky
Texas A&M
UNC
Xavier*

*-If they get in

I predicted Xavier would go to the final four in 2004(i think), but they lost in the elite eight. I think this is the year they finally get through.

Drew Lavender is an excellent point guard along with Justin Cage and Dolleman from the elite eight team, watch out.

I respectively totally disagree with you about Duke. I dont think they will even make it to the Sweet Sixteen. Their entire gameplay/gameplan has been exposed, they have lost 4 straight games, and are in a total landslide. This is not Duke's year.
