I would rather see Ohio State play Notre Dame. I think Ohio State has a chance to beat them. Or maybe Stanford or Duke.
How is Hawaii not getting any consideration? I realize that they don't play in a BCS conference, and their strength of schedule is even worse than Ohio State's, and they haven't even looked that good in some of the games that they were supposed to win big. But what do they have to do to get in? If this isn't the year for a non-BCS conference team to get in, then what is? With all the top teams losing this year, Hawaii ought to be ranked higher. And being the only undefeated team ought to mean more than it obviously does. I think it's just another example of love from the voters.
After Hawaii, I think Kansas should get the next spot. Their only loss was to Missouri. How is a 2-loss Georgia getting to be ahead of 1-loss Kansas? And boners like Mark May are suggesting that LSU might jump all those teams and take the #2 spot. They maybe should be ahead of Georgia, but not ahead of Kansas, in my opinion.
