Who else is going to be glued to ABC tonight? (Lost)

I thought last night's episode was entertaining and enjoyed it; but I agree that it did not meet the expectations of a season finale for LOST.

Locke being the one in the coffin was kind of a let down for me. Too predictable.

Anyone watch it? A few of us were correct in that the island moved in time not space. Pretty cool actually.

I just hope this entire season isn't the 70 hours (that's how long the lady in the church told Ben he had to get back) of the 6 trying to get back.

Regardless, good show. Love time travel stuff.

Yeah, it's interesting that the island is "looping" through time. I remember reading a theory a few years ago on a Lost forum that the show would end with the very first scene from the pilot episode. It seems like that could be very possible now.

Wierd. So they'd have to relive all that again and not be able to change anything as Daniel said? That would suck.

Oh, speaking of that, why did Daniel say that Desmond was special and he could still change things? A few seasons back when Desmond turned the key and "went back" to Penny, he was being told the same things...that he couldn't change things. And when he was having visions of Charlie dying, Des said the same thing that he couldn't stop it from happening. But now Desmond is the only one who the "rules don't apply to?" Hmmm...

This is what I'm not understanding. Is it the island that is jumping or is it the LOSTies on the island? The way they talked last night was that it was the people jumping to different points of time on the island. However, if this was the case, why would the island have disappeared from the Oceanic 6's perspective. It almost has to be that the LOSTies on the island are actually still traveling through the normal time stream, but the island itself is skipping. Is this correct or am I missing something?

Didn't Daniel tell Sawyer that he wasn't sure if it was the island, the losties or both that were jumping?

Confusing...I am thinking like you that the island is hopping and our losties are just along for the ride.

So, the next question becomes is the island skipping through time related to the 70 hour window that Ben has? In other words, did that white-haired woman, whom I think is Daniel's mother (i.e. who Desmond is now going to be looking for) calculate the skipping and therefore knows when the island is going to appear and disappear again?

Yeah, I think that woman is Daniel's mom too! Although, Daniel works for Widmore so why would that woman want to help Ben?

The 70 hour window is confusing. But I'm guessing they somehow know how to take into account the island skipping. Daniel knew it was going to happen so I'm guessing his mom understands it too.
