I don't know the fanbase in Cincy, and in all liklihood, many of them are not on the bandwagon. But, Columbus? That's the king of all professional bandwagon towns.
maybe cuz they dont have a major sports team. maybe becuz its an area where tons of people are moving in. it has grown 20% in the last 10 years. maybe because you are on a college campus...

Look, "who dey?" is the beginning of a question. who dey think dey gon beat dem bengals? if ANY bengals fan were to say who dey during the years 91-03, they were asking for shit. It's one thing to answer the bengals when asked who my favorite team is. It's quite another to be retarded. I have rooted for the Buckeyes, reds, and bengals my whole life. I know what i went through when my teams were down, and no matter what any bitter browns fans may say on an internet message board, I will still root for my teams regardless of record.

I'll who dey that post...

Since when is dune-monkey racist? And since when does the length of futility have to do with being a true fan? Fuckin' moron.

Yeah, dune monkey or isn't racist at all...coincidentally, neither is substituting 'porch' for 'dune'. :roll1:

I'll type this slowly so you understand...when your team gets it's ass beat week after week for 14 years, there aren't many opportunities to cheer for anything besides player introductions and the occasional idiot on the field. Therefore, you didn't hear 'Who Dey' very often. Yelling it after your team's QB tosses an INT with his left hand (and he's right handed) or after the season begins with a delay of game penalty, probably is as intelligent as believing 'dune monkey' isn't a racist term. As I said before, you can do better than this crap...

Chill out. I'm not attacking anyone. But you're clearly not from central ohio. It wasn't just the lack of a cheer. (and if this thread is asking the question you propose the cheer asks, then I'll just say "Colts" as an answer). I didn't see any jerseys, sweatshirts, stickers, hats, or any other symbol that may have had someone announce they were a Bengals' fan for a long time.

There is no scientific way to prove the bandwagon phenomenon of the Bengals, Cavs, or Indians in central ohio. But, based upon observations and personal experience, I have no doubt that are many, many out there. That doesn't mean that there are many, or even any, on this board.

I was born and raised in NEWARK, OH. About 30 miles NE of C-BUS. I am most definately from central ohio.

Good post. I agree completely. Go Bucks, Bengals, and Reds!
