All this "who dey" business.... and you people think Cleveland fans are annoying?
How about a "we don't, we don't, we don't mess around HEY"
How about the next time the Bengles are mired in 10 straight seasons of 4 wins or less some Bengles fan tosses out a "who dey" or two.
Anyone who doesn't, I'm calling a bandwagoneer.
All through college my roommate and I would sing the Who Dey song.
Why do people get so upset that there are more people happy to talk about a 9-3 team than there are when the bengals were 1-11. It's obvious that's going to happen. There is more the cheer about. Kind of tough to be all cheers when your team is going 1-11.
There are some Cincy fans who are not bandwaggoners, I'll admit. It's hard to decipher the real from the fake, but I do know this: I went almost 10 years without hearing "who dey," and now it won't stop.
you would have to be a moron if you expected a bunch of 'Who Dey's'.
or the ones this year? or the cavs bandwagon fans?StadiumDorm said:Don't be so defensive. That's the Bengal cheer, and I didn't hear it throughout a large period of time. Certainly, the main reason is that the Bengals were not very good. But who is there to cheer on the team through the down years. Who was there to say, "who dey?" I'm sure there were a few that said it - the true die hards that would get excited at the beginning of the year. But all I'm pointing out is that I never heard it during those years, and I think that says something about a few of the people out there that are calling themselves Bengals' fans. Not calling out anyone in particular.
FWIW, I remember all of the Indians' bandwaggoners in the mid to late 90s and I despised them.
Uh...there weren't exactly a ton of instances in the last 14 years that warranted a 'Who Dey' with the exception of a couple 8-8 seasons (and going .500 isn't what I would call 'Who Dey' or bragging material). Any chance for a 'Who Dey' was usually gone by the end of the 1st half each week. Considering the Bengals' best players over the decade prior to Marvin Lewis & Co. included Carl Pickens, the Shake N Blake, and Harold Green you would have to be a moron if you expected a bunch of 'Who Dey's'.
