I posted this somewhere else. It's just my uneducated opinions, but from what I've read and seen, here is my slightly biased top 10 players in the nation.
1. QB Terrell Pryor IMO, he's as good if not a better player in highschool than Vince Young was. I think he's identical athletically, but has bettter mechanics as a passer at this point. Either way, he's a complete stud.
2. WR Aj Greene Some say Kenny Tate is the best receiver in the nation, but Aj Greene has almost identical measurables, plus much better production. I don't think I've seen a highschool wide receiver highlight reel better than his. Go look it up on Youtube.. He's Calvin Johnson x2.
3. DB Will Hill Some say he's the best player out of New Jersey in 10 years. Thats enough for him to be top 5 in my opinion. Fast, big, hits hard. Better prospect than Myron Rolle.
4. WR Kenny Tate Freak Athlete who can do everything. Big, fast, physical...everything you want in a receiver.
5. RB Darrell Scott I don't know a ton about Scott, but apparently he's the best runningback in california in a standout year for California runningbacks. Supposedly a stud.
6. DE/DT Daquan Bowers Reminds me a lot of Rob Rose, except more developed at this point. Only difference is he's likely a defensive tackle.
7. CB Boubacar Cissoko I think he would compare very favorably to Deangelo Hall. Has completely torn up every camp and combine he's been too despite his short stature. Fast, awesome hips and really just shuts receivers down.
8. RB/LB Devoe Torrence I might be alone in thinking this, but I think he's the best player in Ohio. He'll either be a star runningback or linebacker. Everyone who saw him play last year came away saying he was the best player in Ohio regardless of class. He's 6'2, 220, and damn fast. Will fill out to around 250 while keeping his speed if he decides to play linebacker. Easily the best runningback in Ohio next year as well.
9. OT Mike Adams This one is hard to tell. You could really throw in Brewster, Long, Shugarts, or Josh Jenkins here, but I went with Adams since I think he has the best combination of upside and highschool domination out of the 2008 linemen. Although I wouldnt really put any of them much higher than the other. They're all elite status players, and could all be top 10.
10. DB Patrick Johnson Don't know a ton about him, but he's supposedly an elite cornerback prospect with size speed, and good competition.
