Watson, Crick & A Twist
1 -- Going from Labs to Desk at Work. Passed a TV on in the lunch area. First plane was "replaying" most are going "no-way - its just an accident" then the second hits and it becomes "no-way its just an accident"
2 -- Off the ground -- literally -- watching with wife and son and friends at home on the widebody.
3 -- Ready to deliver a talk in front of folks in Indiana. Need TV for a Video presentation. I'm futzing around with the damned video recorder and channel settings. News comes on -- talk didn't happen after all that.
4 -- At home screaming at the kid to get out and watch this - he'll never believe what's going to happen -- it a part of history etc.
5 -- Which has always struck me as an odd way of asking "When did you first get laid" -- for its not like any of us are going out at nights trying to get that precious virginity back again. Oh and, in bed, that was it, and a nice young girl too.

1) At a company outing in Hartford, CT. A guy in our firm was in a middle of a presentation when he received an urgent phone call. He left the room to take the phone call and when he returned he looked as white as a ghost. He told us the WTC was hit by a 747 and that his son works in the building. Fortunetly his son was okay and a couple of us drove down to Charlotte from Hartford.
2) At home watching the game on TV.
3) In Fussen, Germany touring a couple of castles. One of the castles was the inspiration for Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom.
4) In a hotel in Toronto, Ontario.

1) You found out what was happening on 9/11 - I WAS WAITING FOR THE BUS IN THE GOLD COAST (CHICAGO) AND SOME GIRL MENTIONED IT. THEN WHEN I GOT IN THE OFFICE IT WAS ON CNN.COM AND EVERYONE WAS FREAKING OUT. AS CRAZY AS IT SOUNDS, CHICAGO WAS ABOUT AS HECTIC AS NYC THAT MORNING B/C THE DOWNTOWN GOT SHUT DOWN AND EVERYONE WAS RUSHING HOME. I DON'T MEAN TO DOWNPLAY WHAT OCCURED IN NYC THOUGH BUT WHAT I MEAN IS THAT CHICAGO WAS CRAZY THAT DAY TOO. ALTHOUGH I'M SURE NOTHING LIKE NYC.
2) tOSU won the NC - I WAS STUCK IN WASHINGTON DC WATCHING FROM MY HOTEL ROOM. I WAS IN DC FOR A LONG TIME FOR A WORK ENGAGEMENT. BUT I WAS LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT. BEST COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAME EVER! EVER!!! AND NOT ONLY WERE WE A PART OF IT...BUT WE WON THE NC OUT OF IT! HOW FUCKING AWESOME IT THAT?!?!

1) Living in an apartment with my buddy and I woke up to go to class and the first plane just had hit. I was getting ready and saw the second one hit and realized what was happening. Went to class and we all got sent home around noon.
2) In my house with my Ex and one of my best buddies. I ran outside and ran up and down the street yelling in my socks.
3) Too young to remember
4) That series and the one with the Yankees was the only baseball I watched all year. I was just sittin on my PC wathcing the game.
