I buy Starbucks AND Dunkin Donuts to make at home.........I tend to drink more coffee in the winter because it's cold. I don't really drink much in the summer, unless it's iced coffee. I don't drink it for the caffeine either, I just like the taste.

I drink it for both, but mostly the taste. There are several really cool local coffee shops here in Lincoln, but although I like the people who run them, I go to Starbucks for the consistency of the flavor. There's less up-and-down in the brew at Starbucks, while my local shops tend to be hit and miss.

The caffeine is a necessary thing once in a while, but the flavor is the most important thing.

As for my answer, I go with Einstein's simply because they have a cafe in the building next to where I work. However, my true preference would be Dunkin Donuts.

This is what we have. List is $100, but get a 20% off coupon from Bed Bath & Beyond.

It's six years old and been very reliable. The thermal pot will keep coffee hot for about five or six hours without it tasting burnt. Programmable is nice because I can set it in the evening and stumble into the kitchen and have coffee waiting for me.
