If this defense has a ton of 4-5stsr guys, then this is just sad... Sammy Watkins and the rest of the WRs for Clemson are laughing at our defense and doing what they want. This defense looks god awful. We should be happy that we lost to MSU and didn't go to the NC. Regardless if we come back and win or not, this defense is just plain terrible and shows were not ready to hang with the big boys.

2 years is enough for a sympathy hire. This defense has been a mess for 3 years and the rot was starting to show in 2010 anyway. Time for new voices on defense all around.

Like I said, if he's really a sympathy hire and not Urban's man then this is the time to fire him.
If he doesn't fire Fickell now, it's because he's Urbans choice.

Defense isn't the only issue you guys are having. Braxton Miller was like a tackling dummy out there, poor guy. Clemson had 10 TFLs.
It's painful to watch other good teams go through what we have gone through the last 3 seasons.

That being said - defensively, wow. I know you all had problems tackling all season, but the most shocking thing is how bad it's been the last 3 games.
I was sure that the guys would get it fixed during the extra practice time.
