I really hate to admit mine. I actually debated writing this, but what the hell...no one here knows my true identity.
During the 4th quarter of the '02 Purdue game, I decided that I couldn't take any more. I was soooo pissed, and I could feel my heart in my throat, and the swear words were starting to flow uncontrollably in front of my 4 and 2 year old daughters, and I was starting to have fear for my family's safety. I actually got up from my couch, put a tape in the VCR (looking back on this, this may have been the smartest thing I've ever done....EVER), pressed record, and walked out of the house. Yes, that's right, I missed Holy Buckeye live. I just couldn't take it.
I started raking leaves, and about 5 minutes later, my 4 year old was on our front porch (wearing her OSU cheerleader outfit, of course) yelling "TOUCHDOWN BUCKS, DADDY!!!" I stopped and sat down in the front yard, and about 5 minutes after that, she was there again yelling "BUCKEYES WON, DADDY!!!" After I came to my senses, I got up, went back inside, pressed rewind, and watched. Needless to say, even when I knew the outcome, I nearly crapped in my pants when I found out the TD was a 4th and 1 bomb to Jenkins.
Still, the absolute DUMBEST thing that I've ever done, is give up on that game.
