I'm a huge fan like all of you,but I don't share the same confidence as much as many of you. Tressel may be a good man and a good coach but if he continues with the predictable play calling they will not make it. You could even see his player's frustration when the plays were sent in. Run,Run,Pass? Any defensive coordinator can scheme a game plan to slow that down. I came close to losing a television today.

I agree. Totally. It's about time somebody said it. I'm sick of Tressel not scoring 70 points every week. Sick to death of it. Or running plays called by people on their death beds in hospitals. Or sick kids. And I want to know why he has done absolutely nothing about world peace. Or ever beat TSUN. What about Mike Adams? Are we really sure he got it? And the Middle East, you know out there near Missouri and Nebraska, that's been in the news? So, he can't say he didn't know, can he? What has Tressel done about that? Or when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

First of all, I want to say I've probably NEVER watched ANY football game and didn't yell at the screen... at the coaches, or the play calling, or the players, or the refs.

As far as Coach T goes, I've not only gotten used to his style, but I've come to appreciate the way it irritates the funk out of people. It just drives folks nuts... as the time of possession adds up and the game slows down and there's nothing... anyone.... can.... do... about it. Nyah nyah nyah. It's like playing keep away, or "repeating everything I say" games.

And yet, the fastest Ohio State coach ever to reach 100 victories (assuming he will win one in the next 23 games)!

And yet, the last six games have arguably been Tressell's best at breaking trends and surprising people. I love re-watching the Rose Bowl, when both Herbie and Musberger say that here comes Tressell ball, he'll run it a few more times and kick a field goal and be up by 5... and then WHAM touchdown Posey, and a 9 point lead!

I occasionally have arguments with his personnel decisions, but even those are usually because of his loyalty to the senior player versus the younger player (Zwick, Boeckman, Saine, etc.).

So I'm not going to throw the baby out with the bath water. This coach is one of the best things that ever happened to this program.
