I would say 11-2 would be realistic. 12-1 would be great and if we don't do so well I can easily see 9-4 if we lost the bowl game. Only possible losses I could imagine are the games with Wisky, State Penn, and Meatchicken. Washington could be close but I doubt we lose. I like a prediction of 11-2. 12-1 would be a great season with a bowl win.

I am thinking we could go 11-2 or 12-1. But, I voted for 12-1. I see our defense being able to shut down the Wisconsin rushing attack, and by that time I feel that our QB situation will be settled and we have just enough offense to beat them. I also have OSU going into Ann Arbor and beating the Wolverines. But, I feel that we may lose to Penn State. I think that we go 12-1 and we get screwed over by the BSC because of our weak strength of scedule. :oh:

I thought we had a thread on this already...oh well.

Only the road games at Penn State and Michigan concern me. Washington may be a tough one, too, but I'm fairly confident in that one. No one will beat us at home. Thus, at worst, we'll be 10-2 and in a BCS bowl game (which we'll win). I'll say 11-2 with a bowl win...

A quick look at the schedule and you get 4 games of concern (Washington, PSU, Wisky,scUM). Also, one thing we haven't "been" in awhile is "upset."

I see us as a good enough team to win at least 2 of the 4 toughies, but that "upset" game is killing me and I'm seeing Purdue as the possible culprit.

I voted 10-3 on the poll, with the losses being Washington, scUM, and the Bowl Game. Flying across the country for your first road game will be a bear. I think we just bring too much "D" to the table not to run the rest of the schedule. And, I hate to admit it but beating scUM this year will be a monumental task. I see the loss there following the team to their Bowl game, with another loss there. Hope to hell I'm wrong.

We should do this out of the 12 regular season games, the Bowl is just too much of a crapshoot.

I say 10-2 to 9-3 regular season. Like everyone @Wash, @ PSU, Wisky, @ scUM are the 4 critical games. Question is do we just split them, take 3 of 4 or what?

No one has a clue untill we see how the QB/offense get going AND how the defense does. I'm not ready to proclaim this DL '02-like just yet.

Looking at it from the opponenets POV, Washington has young QB and talent issues. The road trip angle is the only thing going in their favor imo.

Wisky has to come to the 'Shoe and we owe them big. Still a tough out however, they just always play us tough.

PSU has the Happey valley thing for them but the looming player suspensions might hurt the D and we are due to win one there again soon.

scUM I'm not as worried about as some. I think they are going to be a paper tiger next year and they are going to get softened up by their end of year schedule. Stout run D, athletic back 7 and a strong run game of your own is the recipie for beating scUM in '07. We ahould have all that. We also have nothing to lose and a year of Hart running his dick sucker for bulletin board material. I really think we go up there and put a program crusher on them.

Big 4 games in order of toughness imo:
1. scUM as always
2. Wisky
3. @ PSU
4. @ UW

I went with 11-2 for now, but this Ohio State team sort of looks like USC from last year.

Unproven QB, some good running backs, pretty decent defense coming back....

If Ohio State gets some offensive players to step up, especially with the receivers, things could go very similarly....

My losses would be Penn State and the bowl game FWIW
