what was your 40 time when you played football??

I love the fact that more and more teams are looking at the power clean as a measure of power. People can put up ungodly bench press numbers but hopefully he is a good enough footblly player where he won't have to bench someone off of him....lol

The bench press does not emulate any action in football while the power clean measures the explosive potential of the player.

Let me guess, you all put up 225 a Kudla-like 52 times?! Well, as a reference point, my best was 26. Work from there. :smash:

Well I can't even bench press 225 period. My max is like 175-185. About the only time that I can honestly say that with my hands and arms that I lifted more than 225, was when I was doing shrugs. And I did like 290, and about killed myself. But I can leg press 550, which is good for my size.

I'll try that Monday:biggrin:

BTW this is a plate press. So theres no "pin" to drop a notch.
Then scoot the seat up...most leg press machines are plate loaded anymore unless you are on a circa 1958 Nautilus machine. There has to be an adjustment capability...either pins that stop the carriage or a seat adjustment if it is an upright press.

I have waxed the hardwood.
No sex talk in the 40 thread please

There is no seat adjustments on it.

I looks somewhat like this, except the foot plate is flat.
