Shitty hip hop is everywhere…problem is it is all subjective, like all music. Mos Def never did anything for me. I’d rather listen to KRS-ONE if we are talking about lyricists. But I’ll take DMX or The Game before both. Not for their lyrical content per se, but for their kick ass tunes.

90% of rap on the radio these days is pure trash to me.
