Here two giants of Mexico, Juan Gabriel and Banda El Recodo collaborated on an album of Juan Gabriel's greatest hit done banda style. I realize most of you aren't familiar with this music but in my opinion it's one of the greatest albums ever recorded.

I love music, especially the music of Latin America. I remember one time I was listening to some music from Peru here at home and one of my friends asked me "where are we, Mexico?". After correcting him that the particular artist wasn't Mexican I asked if I put on some led Zeppelin would it make him feel better. After he said yes I asked him, "Where are we, England?.

Here's a song from a Peruvian pop star that if it wasn't for the fact that the song is sung in Spanish you'd think you were listening to an American soft rock song from the late 70's or early 80's.
